Developing The Online/Offline Partnership
One of the things I’m working on is developing online/offline partnerships basically exploring partnerships where I sell someone’s product online and handle all aspects of web marketing. I first explored products that were direct at hand. I live in rural Montana so it was easy to explore our local products. About all manufacturing is Wood Products.
What I have gone ahead and done is partnered with a local distributor and manufacturer of Log Siding and I’m working on other partnerships but basically its simple. I’m building links, building the website on a solid framwork on the WordPress Platform. A few things I’ve noticed first off is the availability of free links even some very available .edu links.
At this point I’ve done some initial link building, and am now headed into the content production part of building this site. One of the things I’ve learned about building sites is to keep it simple and just make simple progress.
Building a product site is much like building a blog. But instead of using blog posts I use pages. I customize each and every page slug and stress an importance on building an internal link structure. I’m exploring WordPress Siloing only because I think it drives the core focus back into the site.
This type of business is a perfect college startup opportunity in that I’m charging a setup fee and hoping for residuals on the back end. Anyone got any ideas to make it better?

Can you explain what WordPress Siloing is in a little more detail? Is it the whole thing about using pages and being more intentional about link structure?
Otherwise, I think you’re on the right track. Do what you do best to leverage higher return products.
