Resource Lists As A Source of Income
I wrote up an article over at Performancing that discusses a new strategy that I’ve been using to diversify away from CPM and CTR based revenue.
Basically, the idea is that you use your expertise about a subject (whatever the topic may be) to create a list of recommendations. Often times these lists of recommendations will be associated with an affiliate product (e.g. Amazon book or magazine).
So the idea is that if you continually provide your readers with useful information, and it is truly useful, you can capitalize on this by monetizing their purchase behaviors.
