2007 Goal Reached Eight Months Early
On January 1st 2007, in a New Year’s Resolution Blog Post, I had this to say:
In December 2006, I pulled in about $1760 from a variety of sources (AdSense, Text Link Ads, Amazon, private ad sales). That’s not quite a livable wage in America. However, my goal is to make at least $3500 in December 2007, which positions me to take this on as a full time job. Total freedom.
At the time I thought it was a daunting goal. But I should have known better. The web is good. Very good. Should I expect $7000/month by August 2007? Who knows. But that’s a goal.
Just wanted give you all an update and also an encouraging word. When the ball starts rolling, it just keeps picking up speed. The hard part is getting to that place where the ball starts rolling. Just keep pushing and striving and you’ll get there.

Great Job! Real inspiring for someone like me that is getting ready to launch their first website. Is the 3500 pure profit and is it from the college-startup blog only?
