BETA Test EatonWeb

I’ve been helping to develop “a blog directory that matters” and you can see what we’re working on over at The EatonWeb Blog Directory.

I’d like to invite College Startup readers to help BETA test the directory by registering and submitting blogs. If you run into any bugs/quirks, please report them back here.

We’ll be running BETA through the end of May and hope to launch in June. Your help and feedback are appreciated.

When the activation email sends the link to activate, it only sends a relative URL: /verify/[digits] instead of the whole thing.

“Thank you for registering as an Eatonweb member. To finalize your registration, please click on the following link which will verify your email address:

/verify/XXXXXXXXXX/

If you do not verify your account within 24 hours it will be deleted.”

Thanks jim. My bad. I had corrected that on the dev server but not production!!!

Not like a bug, but something to consider. The submit form shows up even if you aren’t logged in, so I filled it all out only to be told I’m not logged in. It can be annoying to have to fill in the same form multiple times
