Give your college business a tune up
Cars need their tune-ups to run more longer and more efficiently. Existing problems can be eliminated and improvements can make life easier for you, and life longer for your car. The same goes for your business. You will likely deal with it like you would a machine you own. A college business –once inserted with a good deal of organization and planning –will need less care and will generate more cash.
If you haven’t already, put up a website. If you have one, fix what you’ve got. Within, make a good impression and state your business. Allow your customers to contact you through it, allow them to purchase with it, and give them the necessary information needed to know your product. Start a blog that you can update at least once a week; customers like to feel connected to the people they buy from and this will give your business a more personal touch. Updating often will also improve your search engine rankings. If, on the other hand, you think that will take too much work, try eBay or other buy and sell sites.
Care for your customers. Building a good relationship with them will not only increase their patronage, but will also spread the word on how well you treat your clients. You will attract more business if they keep you in mind; you can start with a newsletter or an email every now and then.
Know what other products your audience demands. Add the affiliate program to your site or flyer –or whatever else you use to advertise –and promote them.
If you decide to take the more serious route, write articles to boost your credibility and popularity. Showcasing your expertise will build trust and writing articles that anyone can access – even for free article sites – can increase your customer traffic. However, it’s ideal that you submit guest posts to high profile blogs in your market.
Tuning your business will need work but rest assured –by the end of the day –you’d have done something good for your business and expanded a little more.
