Newsday: Coming soon to a browser near you

For those of you wondering where I’ve been the past week or so, here is my explanation. I’ve been working on a new design – not for a client, but for anyone. A WordPress theme. I got excited when I saw Chris’ theme and decided to start my own.

The idea, so far at least, is a newspaperesque (is that a word?) layout. I’m working on customizing some function from Hemingway to make the excerpts work the way I want an include an Ajax control panel to allow bloggers to put content where they want.

So, I’m sorry for not posting in a while, but this theme is coming along nicely. I’m not sure when I will release it, but hopefully soon. I will finish up Part 3 of the Four Figure Blogging series in the next few days, as well.

When I read the title, I thought that you may have gotten a job with the New York newspaper called Newsday, or their Newsday.com site. But, obviously, I realized what-was-what when I read the article.
