Five Things I’m Thankful For This Year
As an Internet entrepreneur who is now making a living online, working for himself, I am thoroughly thankful.
Here are five significant things that I’m thankful for this year.
1. Google
My thanks to Google takes many forms, but consider these facts. Google was my first major source of revenue. Google taught me to stop building trash and to pursue long term quality with a vengeance. Google is the tool that I use to find 95% of the things I find online.
2. Great Friends
In the last year, I’ve made some great friends online. I am convinced that I wouldn’t be making even a quarter of income I make were it not for my network of online friends. Friends can’t be taken for granted. Give some love to get some love. There’s nothing like the great feeling that comes from helping a friend achieve success. Try it. Not only will it feel good, but it will also make you more successful in the long term.
3. Social Media
I love social media. I love social media more than I love blogs. There’s nothing like a good old democratic scrap match. And for the most part, these sites manage to identify awesome content day in and day out.
4. Four Figure Dollar Days
It was my three year goal. It happened much faster than I expected. The Internet rewards those who work hard and think smart.
5. The emergence of online Video
My favorite online content in 2007 was all video content. That’s why I’ve decided to get in on the fun by producing my own video shows in 2008. You should consider doing video too.
Bonus:The Performancing community. I can’t say how much I love you guys. Couldn’t have imagined it 10 months ago. Fuzz rules!
