Update: PR 7 Blog For Sale

We’ve talked a lot on this blog about buying and selling blogs. Usually I point you to SitePoint. But SitePoint has gotten overloaded with crappy sites. It’s rare for a gem to come by, and who’s got time to weed through all the junk.

I don’t want to keep tooting my own horn over at Performancing, but right now there are some really excellent deals on blogs for sale over there. If you’ve been waiting to get started in the blog market, now’s the time to get started. My good friend Mark is streamlining his operations and in doing so is unloading some PR 5 and PR 4 blogs. That gives you the opportunity to come in and ride on the coattails of someone who’s been immensely successful on the web. Riding on the success of others is how I got to where I am. So I can’t do anything but suggest that you consider getting in the game too.

Here’s a fact. If you’re looking for good blogs to buy, as of today, the best place to look is the Blogs for Sale forum over at Performancing. No junk. No turnkey sites. Real blogs for sale. Check it out.

Hard to establish a track record with 4 blogs on the block. And none that are rock-solid.

Chris Wenston | April 26, 2007

Ummm… hardly any selection. I think it’s still SitePoint for me, they have less crap than DigitalPoint, and a good number of serious sellers every month with solid blogs for sale.

Aaron,
I’m making over 4k each month on my own right now and got started with precisely the kinds of blogs that are for sale at Performancing.

Further, I’m not sure what you consider a track record, nor what you consider “rock solid” but there are plenty of blogs in b5 that are borderline worthless, so you might want think about a little house cleaning before you offer criticism.

The audience at college startup isn’t looking to spend 35k on a blog like technosailor. Most of them are looking to get started in 3 figure arena, based on my conversations with dozens of young, but relatively poor college students.

PR 7 blog for sale at Performancing

Ryan | April 27, 2007

A couple points.

1. Performancing features blogs *only*
2. SitePoint’s signal to noise ratio is a joke
3. When’s the last time you’ve seen a solid, unmanipulated PR7 blog for sale at SitePoint?

Sometimes it’s not a bad thing to have a smaller pool. E.g. I’d rather cool off in a kiddie pool with fresh water then a swimming pool that consisted of 90% piss and 10% water.

Aaron Brazell | April 27, 2007

Couple things. S2N means something if there’s actually signal or noise. With a handful of listings, it’s hard to have either. Secondly, my first point pretty much echoes Chris’s. SitePoint may have more crap sites, but at least they have more sites.

JD Arney | April 28, 2007

It seems like Performancing’s auctions have just launched (or relaunched I guess) so complaining about the selection seems a little silly. I really hope it succeeds, you have to wade through a lot of crap at DP and at Sitepoint. Unless you’re actually interested in proxies and auto blogs.

Nick | April 29, 2007

I put a site up for sale on it. Hopefully it sells.

And I get sick of all the myspace sites and proxies over at DP. If the caliber of blogs at performancing stays high I’ll check back often.
