My new project, Smoochr

I wanted to share this new project that I’m working on. It’s a social voting site for “sexy topics” called Smoochr.

Right now the site is in BETA, which means it is running, but not yet being promoted. The cool thing is that this gives you the chance to build up your profile Karma and gain leverage at the site if you get started now, before everyone else jumps on the bandwagon. Plus, it’s a way to get free links from a site that will easily debut at PR 5 or 6.

I’d love to have some college startup readers get involved over at Smoochr as we finish smoothing out the last few bugs, finalize our new logo design, and then start rocking with the big boys.

Right now, we don’t have any defined advertising, but we’re happy to talk.

We expected to have to build it out for a few months before looking for advertisers.
