Paid surveys – You won’t get rich, but …

…with the right company, you can earn some extra spending cash for college.

The following is a paid review:

A while back I posted an article entitled 5 Awesome Tips For Finding Free Money and my last suggestion “give your opinion.” Naturally, you might have said: “Ah, I’m more than willing to give my opinion, but where and with whom?”

Finding legitimate companies with legitimate surveys who pay legitimate cash can be like navigating through the mazes in The Labyrinth. The key is to find a good screening company that will give you a database of real surveys that pay real money (and no, Google is NOT a good screening company!).

One such company that we’ve discovered is called eMarketing Surveys. From what we can tell, this company is about as good as you can get. They are up front about the fact that you shouldn’t expect to get rich or that you should expect to make X amount of dollars. Rather, they tell it as it is: an opportunity with great flexibility but few guarantees. You just need to jump in and give it a whirl to see if it works for you.

Here’s how it works: First, you sign up (unfortunately, this does cost a one time fee) and fill out information about yourself. Then you register with at least 20 companies (out of about 250). The more companies you register with, the more likely you are to get offers. Then, if you fit the right “focus group” the company contacts you with the details for participating (including compensation). You can either agree or refuse. The more you participate, the more attractive you become to other companies, and the more offers you get.

Now like I said, the one downside to this is that you have to pay a one time entry fee. But the good news is that it comes with a money back guarantee which gives me a lot of confidence in this screening company:

Simply sign up with at least 20 survey companies, and if you do not receive at least one paying survey offer within 30 days, your fees will be refunded in full. Why are we requiring that you sign up with at least 20 companies? The reason is simple. We want to protect our good reputation and have our members spread the word about our services.

So my suggestion is that if you want to really make money by filling out online surveys, signup with a company like eMarketing Surveys, and give it a whirl. It may be perfect for you, it may not, but at least give it a shot and try.
