Get a scholarship by blogging – act now!
This must be a dream come true for some of you out there. CollegeScholarships.org will be giving away $10,000 worth of scholarship money to a worthy student who blogs and does it passionately. It was apparently a brainchild of people who also make a living through blogging, and wanted a way to give back. Interested? Here are some details from the site:
Scholarship Requirements:
- - Your blog must contain unique and interesting information about you and/or things you are passionate about. No spam bloggers please!!!
- - U.S. citizen or permanent resident;
- - Currently attending full-time in post-secondary education in the United States; and
- - If you win, you must be willing to allow us to list your name and blog on this page. We want to be able to say we knew you before you became a well educated, rich, and famous blogging legend.
Important Dates:
- - Accepting Submissions: October 15th, 2008
- - Submission Deadline: October 30th, 2008
Voting Dates:
All submissions must be received before October 31th 2008 (12am PST). Our panel of judges will decide on 10 finalists and public voting will be enabled the morning of November 3rd.
Voting will be closed on November 17th 2008. During this time, check our blog for announcements, updates, finalists, and voting information.
